Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pallet Builder/Repairer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden pallets used for shipping and storage purposes. Your expertise will ensure that pallets meet safety standards and quality expectations, supporting our logistics operations efficiently. This position offers an engaging environment where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and safety are prioritized. Whether building new pallets from scratch or restoring damaged ones, your work will directly contribute to the smooth flow of goods across various industries. Responsibilities Assemble new pallets using hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking, ensuring precise measurements and sturdy construction Inspect damaged or worn pallets and perform repairs to extend their usability, including replacing broken boards or reassembling components Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately build pallets according to specifications Operate woodworking machines safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood components for pallets Use a variety of hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, and drills to complete repairs and assembly tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to power tool safety protocols at all times Perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky materials, ensuring proper technique to prevent injury Qualifications Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or pallet manufacturing is highly preferred Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for woodworking and assembly tasks Knowledge of wood construction materials, including different types of lumber used in pallet building Experience with woodworking machines such as saws, sanders, or drills is a plus Strong understanding of power tool safety procedures and best practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Construction site experience or general construction background is advantageous Additional skills in metal stud framing, drywall repair, flooring installation, or tile laying are beneficial but not required Join our team today if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills in a fast-moving industry. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
