Riverton Classical Academy (RCA) is a tuition-free, public charter school, and a Hillsdale K-12 Supported Founding Effort scheduled to open in August 2027 in the Minidoka/Cassia county area of southern Idaho. The mission of Riverton Classical Academy is to train the minds and improve the hearts of students through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility. To accomplish this mission, we offer students an American classical education. RCA is seeking mission-aligned educators who are inspired by the vision and purposes of American classical education.   • RCA is seeking a mission-aligned musician who is inspired by the vision and purposes of American classical education. We are seeking a teacher who will elevate music instruction beyond the status quo of typical music education to its proper place as an indispensable part of a liberal arts education

Art Teacher
  • RCA is seeking a mission-aligned artist/educator who is inspired by the vision and purposes of American classical education.
We are seeking an individual who will elevate art instruction beyond the practical acquisition of various artistic skills to include familiarizing students with the great works of art throughout human civilization. We want our students to see things that are beautiful, to understand them (at least in part), and be moved by them. Our thorough curricular resources will aid in this endeavour. 7. Spanish Teacher
  • RCA is seeking a mission-aligned individual who is inspired by the vision and purposes of American classical education to teach Spanish to our Kindergarten
  • 5th grade students.
Spanish classes will be held in approximately 30 minute time spans twice per week with each class. The RCA Spanish teacher will be expected to make the study of Spanish as immersive as possible, and to make grammar and culture an integral part of instruction. The goal of Spanish language instruction at RCA is to inspire students with a sense of wonder and beauty about another language, and other cultures and ways of life, and thereby help them to know their own culture and language a little better.
