Responsibilities Prepare metal materials for cutting, welding, and assembly using hand tools and power tools Support the setup and operation of welding equipment such as

MIG, TIG, FCAW

(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) under supervision Measure materials precisely using a tape measure and shop math to specified lengths and tolerances Help with plasma cutting using AWS (American Welding Society) guidelines Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and handling tools responsibly Operate grinders and polishers to safely remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections with attention to detail Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with construction work or fabrication environments is highly preferred Basic knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately Experience working with mechanical materials in a shop setting Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding, cutting, grinding, and handling heavy equipment Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and quality control during fabrication processes Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining focus on safety and craftsmanship Join us in creating exceptional metal structures by supporting our skilled fabricators!
