We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Sewer Crew to join our team. This role is ideal for skilled professionals who takes pride in leading and supporting crew operations, performing sewer repairs and replacements via excavation and trenchless applications and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while contributing to an excellent customer experience. Sign-On Bonus Payout:

After 1 month: $250 After 3 months: $500 After 6 months: $750 After 12 months: $1,000

Total Potential Bonus:

$2,500

•Sign-on bonus is paid in installments and is contingent upon maintaining active employment and remaining in good standing through each milestone

Responsibilities:

Lead and assist residential sewer and drain crew operations on job sites Operate and oversee equipment usage including back hoe, hydro jetter, sewer cameras, power saws, jack-hammers, and grinders. Coordinate with the Bottom Man and crew members to ensure safe, efficient completion of sewer repair and replacement projects. Read and interpret sewer camera inspections, locate issues, and assist in determining repair solutions. Perform sewer line repairs, replacements, cleanouts, spot repairs, and related excavation work. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Illinois plumbing codes, OSHA safety standards, local municipality regulations, and company procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding work being completed, timelines, and job expectations Is the competent person on job site and point of contact for management, coordinator, inspector and homeowner. Complete job documentation, photos, and necessary paperwork accurately and timely Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately Assist with restoration and cleanup following completion of sewer work Participate in on-call rotations or overtime as needed

Qualifications:

1+ years of sewer excavation experience. Trenchless lining experience a plus. Previous experience working as a Sewer Top Man, Excavation Laborer, Pipe Layer, or similar field position preferred Knowledge of residential sewer systems, underground utilities, and excavation safety procedures Familiarity with Illinois plumbing regulations, utility locating requirements, and OSHA excavation/trench safety standards Ability to safely operate sewer and excavation equipment Experience working around trench boxes, shoring, and confined work areas preferred Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in inclement weather conditions year-round as well as mud, sewage. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Successfully complete our screening process, which includes assessments, interviews, background checks, and drug screening.
