This is a great opportunity for someone early in their welding or fabrication career who wants to learn the trade and grow with a company willing to provide training.

Gurnee, Illinois Responsibilities Operate press brakes, saws, and other cutting and fabrication equipment Cut, bend, form, and prepare sheet metal and metal plates Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical drawings Measure and inspect completed parts for accuracy Use grinders, drills, plasma cutters, and other shop tools Assist with the fabrication and assembly of industrial tanks and mixing equipment Complete custom fabrication work based on job specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety and quality procedures Assist other members of the fabrication team as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools Basic knowledge of welding, metalworking, or fabrication preferred Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed measurements Blueprint-reading experience is helpful Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn different fabrication machines and processes Recent welding-school graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, lift, and work around manufacturing equipment Ability to safely lift and move materials commonly used in a fabrication environment Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off
