Position Overview:
We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals eager to grow within the steel fabrication industry. While technical or manufacturing experience is a plus, we are open to training individuals with the right attitude and work ethic. Successful candidates must be willing to work across multiple areas, including machine operation, assembly, and shipping/receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and learn various steel fabrication machinery, including burn tables and plasma tables. Work in multiple areas of production, adapting to different tasks as needed. Use measuring tools such as tape measures to ensure precision in fabrication. Assist in material handling, including forklift and overhead crane operation. Maintain a high level of physical fitness to navigate the plant, including stairs and elevated workspaces. Follow safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a secure working environment. Exhibit teamwork and flexibility in daily responsibilities. Operate overhead cranes/forklifts
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
2 years of recent manufacturing experience is strongly preferred Background in steel fabrication or related technical skills (preferred but not required). Experience with burn table/plasma table operations is a plus. Familiarity with forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment. Strong measurement skills and proficiency with measuring tools. Training from a local trade school is beneficial. Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and ability to adapt to various tasks.
