Job Description

Job Title:
Rebar Fabrication Summary:
Responsible for rebar fabrication and customer service. When time permits organizing and putting away stock in the rebar yard. This position may oversee the work of others. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Fabricating rebar. 2. Completing works orders. 3. Putting away stock. 4. Load and unload trucks. 5. Clean up and organize work area.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Great communication, time management and punctuality are essential. Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

  • Forklift
  • Pallet jack
  • Scissor lift
  • Ladder
  • Operate rebar cutter and benders
