Welder / Fitter

•Direct Hire Fort Wayne, IN Competitive Pay

•Based on Experience, $22-30/hr +$3/hr shift premium 2nd

Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM

•2:30 AM Likely overtime available on Fridays Pro Resources is hiring for a Welder / Fitter for a respected manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you go directly onto the company's payroll from day one. We are seeking experienced candidates who can weld with minimal supervision, fit parts accurately, and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications Fit and weld structural and metal components with precision Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding processes as needed Measure, align, tack, and assemble materials accurately Inspect finished welds for quality and consistency Work independently while meeting production goals Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Welder / Fitter Ability to work with minimal fixturing Comfortable reading tape measures and blueprints High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Must be able to pass an on-site weld test High School Diploma / GED preferred Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Work Environment /

PPE:

Steel-toed shoes required Hearing protection required Eye protection required Jeans and t-shirts permitted

Background Requirements:

Felonies considered case-by-case with company approval. No violent or sexual-related offenses.
