- apply today and take the first step towards a fulfilling career with Tarpstop! We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Installer to join our team. Welding experience is not required, but MIG welders with the ability to do quality weld-work on aluminum have a higher starting rate ($19
- based on experience).
Responsibilities:
Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials as required to complete tarping system installations and repairs Operating equipment including but not limited to: saws, drills, grinders/buffers, plasma cutters, MIG welder/torches, forklifts, scissors lifts, pallet jacks, driving a yard truck Reading and interpreting team leader instructions and written orders Repair customer equipment as required using equipment previously listed Meeting/exceeding customer requirements for production and quality Pay close attention to detail to ensure proper function and performance of installed/fabricated parts Notify the supervisor when the item is complete and ready for inspection Packaging/labeling items according to production guidelines Maintain a safe and clean work environment Welding aluminum and steel using MIG welder (if able)Experience:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder on aluminum or similar role (Preferred
- Proficient in sheet metal fabrication and soldering techniques
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
