Position Overview:
As a Fabrication Shop Worker, you will be an integral part of our fabrication team. You will work in our state-of-the-art facility in Noblesville, Indiana, contributing to the production and assembly of fire protection systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in construction, who are eager to apply their skills in a hands-on, dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the fabrication of fire protection systems, including pipes, fittings, and other components. Operate fabrication machinery and tools, ensuring safety and precision in all tasks. Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to create custom parts and assemblies. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and tools. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure high-quality standards. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Construction Background:
Previous experience in construction, fabrication, or a similar trade is preferred.
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Fitness:
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Drug Testing:
Successful completion of a drug test is required prior to employment.
Typical Hours:
