About the Role We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in MIG, TIG, and flux-cored welding to assemble high-quality components, ensuring our manufacturing output meets rigorous structural and safety standards. Responsibilities Execute precise welds across flat, vertical, and overhead positions to maintain continuous production flow. Calibrate welding equipment, including voltage, amperage, and wire feed settings, to optimize weld integrity. Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, filing, or scraping to ensure clean joints and finished product quality. Operate pneumatic power tools and material handling equipment to streamline assembly processes. Inspect finished components against blueprints and templates to guarantee dimensional accuracy. Proactively manage material usage to minimize scrap and enhance operational efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform routine equipment maintenance to prevent downtime. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience with industrial welding techniques, including MIG and TIG. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and manufacturing instructions. Strong ability to accurately measure materials using standard tape measures. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Preferred Skills Experience with specialized welding technologies such as laser or flux-cored arc welding. Background in vehicle or fleet maintenance welding. Familiarity with troubleshooting mechanical systems and lift truck maintenance.
