Job Description
TL Steel is looking for shop Welders/Fabricators to join our growing team. Our shop Welders/Fabricators must have experience in reading blueprints and fabricating custom projects that satisfy each unique customers needs. Along with blueprint reading, shop welders must know how to set up and operate welding equipment and torches, be attentive to details, and know how to use other power tools such as angle grinders all while following safety procedure and guidelines. Experience in fabrication and welding is required. Apply today to join the team! TL Steel is looking for workers who are willing to travel throughout the state of Kansas and install structural steel. We manufacture & install building packages, stairs, handrail, guardrail, etc. This job includes working outdoors in all seasons and operating scissor lifts, telehandlers, fork lifts, boom lifts, etc. Work includes everything from erecting heavy columns/beams, installing purlins/sheeting, and core drilling/setting anchor bolts. Generally the job sites are close enough to be home every night but some jobs include longer travel and staying overnight in a hotel. Hotels are paid for by the company and you'll receive per diem while on the road. Our crews are always home for the weekends and we take time off for holidays. Welding experience is required.
