Fabricator#26-22144 $52,000-$58,000 per year Florence, KY Onsite Job Description Our client, a Oilfield Services company, is looking for a Fabricator for their Florence, KY location.
Responsibilities:
The Fabricator is responsible for helping provide safe, efficient and reliable product and service delivery to customers, and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery. The Fabricator ensures equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands, and maintains shop and field equipment. Operate metal fabricating machines, such as rolls, shears, saws, punch presses, metal flanges and benders, other machinery and hand tools are required, to cut, bend, roll, flange, seam weld and form plates, sheets and structural shapes as specified by layout, templates, and/or instructions Knowledge of basic Layout, Measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc) Detect unusual conditions or specific problems and report to proper supervision. Observe good housekeeping practices and follow prescribed safety precautions. Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members. Operate equipment according to procedures, competency levels and job requirement. Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process. Participate in failure investigations when relevant. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Client is a VEVRAA Federal Contractor—priority referral Protected Veterans requested. High School Diploma or equivalent. Entry level: 0-3 years experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Basic blueprint reading. Ability to read. Strong organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate with management and peers in a clear and professional manner. Efficient in basic computer skills: accessing and sending emails, completing online certifications and tests, etc. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or problems that could arise and/or the ability to direct said issue or problem to the appropriate team.
