Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostesses to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in the restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Provide accurate wait time estimates and maintain communication with guests during busy periods. Assist in coordinating the front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless dining experience. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the menu, specials, and reservations. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests.
