- Install new equipment by reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Construct structural components from raw materials.
- Use welding equipment to specifications.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems.
- Conduct quality checks of completed work to ensure that the customer's needs are met.
- Perform routine troubleshooting on bodies and equipment.
- Replace damaged or defective structural components as needed.
- Keep a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Promote a positive team-oriented attitude with other employees and across the workplace.
Qualifications include:
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Basic hydraulic knowledge.
- Ability to weld (MIG) and fabricate top quality products.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with parts and installation drawings and manuals.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the required hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to quality and commitment to quality.
- Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure that projects are completed on time / on budget.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Dedicated, driven approach and commitment to getting it right with a never-ending desire to learn, improve, and contribute.
- Current welding and state certifications and/or preparedness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed (may require company-paid travel).
- 5:00 PM.
