Ironworker Welder - Structural Steel #IND123
Pay:
$28.00-$30.00/hr
Location:
Baton Rouge, LA Area A well-established structural steel contractor is hiring an experienced Ironworker Welder to support commercial construction projects involving structural steel fabrication and erection. This role is approximately 85% shop work and 15% travel . Responsibilities Fit and position structural steel members Perform structural steel stick welding Weld beams, columns, and steel framing components Assist with steel erection and alignment Work from lifts and elevated platforms as required Maintain quality and safety standards Qualifications Structural steel welding experience required Stick welding experience required Experience with commercial steel construction preferred Ability to read and interpret structural drawings Reliable transportation and strong attendance Compensation & Benefits $28.00-$30.00/hr $60/day per diem during travel assignments Hotel accommodations provided Overtime available
