We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our construction team. The Ironworker will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing structural steel frameworks and reinforcing materials for buildings, bridges, and other structures. Duties include reading blueprints, operating hoisting equipment, welding and bolting components, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience working at heights, strong knowledge of construction safety practices, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a physically demanding environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Assemble and install structural steel, beams, columns, and reinforcing materials Align, bolt, weld, and secure steel components into place Operate hoists, cranes, and other rigging equipment safely Work at heights on scaffolding, lifts, or structures Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality standards Follow all safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule Requirements Proven experience as an Ironworker or similar construction role Ability to read and understand construction blueprints Knowledge of welding, rigging, and steel installation techniques Strong understanding of workplace safety practices Physical strength, stamina, and ability to work at heights Valid certifications (e.g., OSHA, welding) preferred Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to work in various weather conditions Preferred (Not Required) NCCER Ironworker certification Crane signaling or rigging certification Experience with commercial, industrial, or agricultural steel projects What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady work with multiple upcoming projects Opportunity for advancement Professional, no-nonsense work environment Apply on Indeed or submit your resume with work history and references to sara@parallelweld.com
