Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder specializing in Aluminum and Steel to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations on various metal materials, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship that meets industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, custom fabrications, and manufacturing tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced welding techniques and fabrication processes in a fast-paced environment dedicated to safety, quality, and innovation. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and procedures Perform welding using various methods including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) on aluminum and steel components Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math skills to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances in fabrication projects Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials Fabricate sheet metal structures, ductwork, and other components according to project requirements while adhering to safety protocols Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints accurately for fabrication and assembly tasks Maintain a clean, organized work area while complying with all safety standards outlined by industry regulations and company policies Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites or in fabrication shops involving metal welding and assembly Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and the use of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical blueprints with precision Mechanical knowledge related to metal fabrication processes such as plasma cutting, machining, assembly, and sheet metal fabrication Experience working with aluminum and steel materials in manufacturing or construction environments Basic math skills for measurements, shop calculations, and quality control assessments Join our team to bring your welding expertise into innovative projects that challenge your skills while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship.
