As the sponsor of nationally recognized Registered Apprenticeship Programs, ProScore develops the next generation of skilled trades professionals through innovative technology and education. Position Overview Seeking an experienced Iron Worker Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction for the NCCER Iron Worker Apprenticeship Program. The instructor will teach classroom and virtual courses aligned with NCCER standards while mentoring apprentices entering the skilled trades. Key Responsibilities Deliver NCCER curriculum through classroom and virtual instruction. Teach structural steel erection, reinforcing steel, rigging, welding fundamentals, blueprint reading, bolting, connecting, and safety. Develop lesson plans, quizzes, and practical exercises. Evaluate apprentice competencies and maintain training records. Mentor apprentices and reinforce OSHA standards. Collaborate with the Apprenticeship Team and utilize ProScore's LMS. Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of journey-level Iron Worker experience. Strong knowledge of structural steel, reinforcing steel, rigging, blueprint interpretation, and safety. Excellent communication and computer skills. Ability to teach adult learners. Preferred Qualifications NCCER Certified Instructor Credential (or willingness to obtain). NCCER Iron Worker Certification.
OSHA 30. AWS
Welding Certifications preferred. Previous apprenticeship instruction experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Why Join ProScore?
