Ironworker Ironworkers Local 568 Ironworkers Local Union 568 is currently accepting applications for Ironworker Apprentices to join our Registered Apprenticeship Training Program. This is a hands-on, earn-while-you-learn opportunity for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the skilled trades. As an apprentice ironworker, you will receive classroom instruction and on-the-job training while working alongside experienced journeyperson ironworkers on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. What You'll Learn Structural steel erection and bolting Welding and cutting processes Rigging and crane signaling Reinforcing steel (rebar) installation Blueprint reading Safety procedures and fall protection Pay & Benefits Progressive wage increases throughout apprenticeship Health insurance Pension and retirement benefits Paid training No student loan debt Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Pass drug and alcohol screening Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to learn and follow safety rules Preferred (Not Required) Mechanical aptitude Construction or welding experience OSHA-10 or OSHA-30

Pay:

$18.99 - $36.64 per hour
