Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with experience in various manufacturing processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The Fabricator will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process. Responsibilities Interpret and read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication projects. Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to assemble metal components, ensuring adherence to ASME codes and standards. Operate various fabrication equipment including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and power tools. Perform tasks such as pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging as required by project specifications. Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in fabrication processes. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and other welding techniques is essential. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery safely. Experience with machining processes and soldering techniques is advantageous. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
