Metal Fabricator - Union Facility | Long‑Term Stability | Career Growth Join a highly respected metal manufacturing company where employees build long‑term careers, average 17 years of tenure, and work in a structured, standards‑driven environment. Train on first shift for 1-2 months, then transition to second shift with a differential. This role focuses on receiving materials, maintaining traceability, and operating shear equipment with precision and safety. What You'll Do Receive and inspect incoming materials for conformity, accuracy, and proper identification Maintain full material traceability including chemical and physical analysis records Manage inventory for all incoming materials with accurate documentation and organization Operate shear machines , rerollers, and related metal‑processing equipment safely and efficiently Prioritize multiple jobs to meet production schedules and customer requirements Follow
ISO & AS9100D
standards and adhere to detailed work instructions Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand job specifications Use measuring tools such as tape measures and precision instruments to verify tolerances Apply shop math including calculations with tolerances like ±0.005 Troubleshoot basic machine issues to maintain smooth production flow Enter data and track inventory using basic computer systems Lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily material handling Collaborate with production teams to support workflow, safety, and continuous improvement Essential Skills Shear machine operation in metal manufacturing General machine operation in production environments Shipping & receiving experience including material tracking Blueprint interpretation Precision measuring tool proficiency

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
