Individual must be well versed in print reading and capable of creating complex parts or structures from said prints. The senior fabricator is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the products they create so they conform to customer specifications. Successful candidates have a significant attention to detail and exceptional reliability. This position requires travel which could mean overnight stays. Hourly rate is based on experience and current capabilities. Pay rate and benefits will be further explained in the interview. 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time of Job Details (Senior Fabricator) The primary duties include general fabrication, MIG, TIG, and occasional stick welding, lay-out work, fitting parts, and repair work. Additional job responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to: Examine and interpret blueprints/schematics to ensure components are made correctly Fabrication of miscellaneous heat treat equipment and parts Work closely with engineers to ensure accuracy and prevent errors Operate equipment such as: saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, fork lifts, scissors lifts, and overhead cranes Stainless steel welding and fabrication Additional Preferred Qualifications (Senior Fabricator) General maintenance knowledge Basic understanding of shop safety and procedures Troubleshooting capabilities Willingness to take on a variety of different tasks Machining and/or milling experience Consistent punctuality and attendance
