This role involves fabricating custom materials, such as stone, metal, or other building components, and installing them with precision on-site or in our workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a thorough understanding of safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects while developing technical expertise in fabrication and installation processes. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation of materials. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment. Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely for materials handling and transportation. Perform dimensional measurements with tape measures and other tools to ensure precise fitting. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection. Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during fabrication or installation, including stone finishing and polishing. Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to meet safety standards and project specifications. Assist in the assembly of components on-site or in the workshop while adhering to safety regulations. Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and materials after use. Support machining, millwork, or other manufacturing processes as needed for project completion. Skills Proven experience with fabrication environments. Mechanical knowledge related to tool operation, material handling, and machinery maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication and installation tasks. Ability to perform accurate dimensional measurements using tape measures and other measurement devices. Familiarity with blueprint reading and following detailed specifications. Experience with forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided. Strong understanding of safety standards in production settings, including PPE use and safety protocol adherence. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Knowledge of stone finishing techniques such as polishing is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy materials safely through proper lifting techniques. Experience in machining or millwork processes is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety compliance. Please submit resume for
