Overview Join our dynamic team as a Structural Steel Fabricator and become a vital part of building the frameworks that shape our skylines and infrastructure! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for transforming raw steel into precisely fabricated components used in large-scale construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that each piece meets strict safety, quality, and engineering standards, contributing to the creation of durable, reliable structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced fabrication techniques and cutting-edge machinery in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate structural steel components. Operate various fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining tools to cut, shape, and assemble steel parts. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions and quality control. Perform welding tasks using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <

Conduct rigging and crane operations safely to move heavy steel sections during fabrication and assembly processes Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a focus on steel fabrication or related trades. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for accurate fabrication. Experience operating fabrication machinery such as plasma cutters, press brakes, and machining tools. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices accurately. Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane operation for handling heavy steel components safely. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and ensuring precision in fabrication tasks. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
