Associates Degree in Social Services preferred with one year experience working with developmentally disabled or mentally ill. 2. Physical health compatible with the demands of the job and completion of a pre-employment medical exam, communicable disease screening and drug screening. 3. Two employment and/or character references. 4. Valid drivers license with appropriate driving record suitable for our insurance coverage. 5.
Preferred qualifications for position:
Lived experience with behavioral health issues.
REPONSIBILITY TO STAFF 1.
To communicate positively and ensure accurate information is passed on accordingly regarding any type of update concerning the group home. 2. To maintain data and daily log books and to ensure staff are following through consistently with all documentation and behavior treatment plans. 3. Ensure, with Supervisor, that staff carries out all daily routines. 4. To read and sign all documentation related to all aspects of the group home. This includes checking on other staff to ensure they follow through also. Ensure books are in orderly fashion.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
To complete a weekly grocery and to ensure menu's include resident input. 2. Ensure all residents receive proper care at all times. 3. To ensure the group home is in a clean and orderly manner at all times. 4. To transport residents to all related services when needed. 5. To act as an advocate for residents to ensure protection of resident rights. 6. To report all emergency information to your Supervisor immediately. 7. To assist Supervisor in training for new program technicians 8. To be responsible for scheduling ONLY in the absence of Supervisor and with approval of Supervisor.
Examples:
vacation, when Supervisor is not available due to emergency. Senior Program Technicians must be aware of and able to schedule accordingly to ensure overtime is not accrued unless absolutely unavoidable. 9. To assist in all resident cooking, self-care, programming, grooming, and all in-home programming. 10. To file group home and resident information in the appropriate places. 11. Report any unusual incident or any repairs needed within 24 hours. 12. Attend all in-services required by your Supervisor. 13. MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
To ensure all health related issues are documented on Health Care Chronological. i.e. meds, appointments, injuries. 2. To ensure all medications are ordered. 3. To ensure medications ordered are labeled correctly. 4. To fill out all med sheets appropriately each month. 5. Report to Supervisor any med changes and keep documented. 6. Report all doctor appointments, outcomes, etc. to Supervisor. 7. To ensure all "Self Administration of Medication" programs are implemented when needed and reviewed daily to assess progress or lack of.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1.
Must be employed on a regular basis for 40 hours a week. 2. Employee will be evaluated after 90 days, 1 year, and yearly thereafter. 3. Employee must meet qualifications stated.
Pay:
$19.65 - $21.65 per hour
