The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication processes, including welding and assembly, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. This role is essential for producing high-quality metal components used in various applications, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Responsibilities Fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Assemble machinery and other metal structures with precision. Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including using MIG and TIG welding techniques. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials as needed. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Have knowledge and experience operating a horizontal bandsaw, ironworker, hydraulic plate shear and MIG welders (1" and under) Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments. Experience in operating forklifts safely within a manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
