Seeking a Traveling Aluminum Welder with Isolated Phase Bus (IPB) welding experience to for a direct hire opportunity with our client based in St. Cloud MN. Travel will be required up to 60%. Only candidates located in Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, or Wisconsin will be considered. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!
Starting Pay:
$35.10/hour after successful completion of the first three weeks of training. Pay increases upon completion of the Bus Duct Technician Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities Perform high-quality aluminum welding on Isolated Phase Bus (IPB) systems. Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and technical drawings. Fabricate, repair, and modify aluminum components to project specifications. Complete field installation, repairs, and maintenance as required. Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety policies. Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and team members to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of aluminum welding experience required. Experience welding Isolated Phase Bus (IPB) systems strongly preferred. Field welding experience in industrial or power generation environments is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Knowledge of aluminum welding processes, equipment, and best practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to travel to job sites as needed (if applicable). Must be able to pass any required pre-employment screenings. Preferred Experience Industrial construction or power generation projects. Fabrication and installation of aluminum bus systems. Experience working in power plants, substations, or similar heavy industrial facilities. Requirements Must be a non-union welder . Ability to work safely in both shop and field environments.
