3003320957-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Lamar Advertising Company seeks a Billboard Construction Worker to build, install, and maintain outdoor billboard structures that support high-visibility advertising campaigns. In this field-based role, you will assemble and repair steel structures, faces, and lighting, working safely at heights and outdoors in all seasons. Responsibilities include using hand and power tools, operating lifts and trucks, following construction drawings, and performing routine inspections and maintenance. You'll work closely with a local team in a safety-first culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and community, with opportunities to grow a long-term career in media and advertising operations. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and dismantle traditional and digital billboards, including structures, faces, and lighting components Follow detailed construction drawings and safety procedures while working at heights on ladders, catwalks, and lift equipment Operate hand and power tools, cranes, bucket trucks, and other construction equipment in compliance with company and OSHA standards Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on billboard structures, hardware, and lighting systems Load, transport, and stage materials and equipment to and from job sites efficiently and safely Collaborate with installers, electricians, and sales/operations staff to meet project deadlines and quality standards Document completed work, site conditions, and safety checks using company systems or mobile tools Communicate professionally with property owners, local contacts, and teammates while representing Lamar in the field Identify and report structural or electrical issues, hazards, or needed repairs to supervisors promptly Adhere to Lamar's culture of integrity, accountability, and community focus while delivering reliable field service Required Skills Billboard or general construction Working at heights and fall protection Use of hand and power tools Aerial lift and bucket truck operation Basic rigging and material handling Reading construction drawings and site plans Basic electrical or lighting maintenance OSHA safety practices and PPE use Equipment and vehicle operation (e.g., CDL, forklift) Field documentation and work reporting
