UG Construction 1
Location:
Stillwater Mine•
Nye, MT Schedule:
Rotating•5x4x4x5
Day Shift:
7:00am•6:30pm
Night Shift:
7:00pm•6:30am
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate various equipment needed in the construction process for operations, maintenance, and expansion. Builds forms, installs rebar & pour concrete, steel fabrication & maintenance required. Installs pipe of all sizes in all areas of the mine. Plans and organize and performs shotcrete applications & grouting. Plans, organize steel & wood fabrication for various projects. Includes welding & cutting. Jackleg & sinking hammer experience for site excavation, modification & set up. Prioritize, understand, and follow written /verbal instructions. Able to work without direct supervision.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
Mechanical aptitude: piping, pumping, welding, cutting torch Equipment Operator, LHD's, skid steer, trucks, forklifts, buggies, tractors. Able to work from prints/drawings. Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork and team building. Must meet the Physical Requirements for the UG Construction position.
