Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment! About the Role Wesley Behavioral Health Services is looking for a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) to join our growing community-based team. This is an opportunity to use your own lived experience to connect with and support individuals working toward their own recovery and personal goals. As a CPSS, you'll work directly with clients in their homes and throughout the community, building meaningful relationships and helping clients become more connected, independent, and engaged in their communities. What You'll Do Provide peer support rooted in lived experience, hope, and mutual respect Build supportive relationships with clients and encourage progress toward their goals Help clients develop life skills and increase independence Connect clients with community resources and opportunities Support clients in becoming more engaged in their communities Document services accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with QPs and other members of the treatment team Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training What We're Looking For Active North Carolina CPSS certification Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the community Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while remaining connected with your team Ability to maintain professional boundaries and follow agency expectations Ability to lift up to 50 pounds What We Offer Flexible scheduling Community-based work Supportive team environment Ongoing supervision and training Opportunities for professional growth Compensation based on completed and documented billable services If you're looking for an opportunity to use your experience to make a meaningful difference in someone else's recovery, we'd love to hear from you.
