- This position is more like working in a workshop, fabricating Orthotic and Prosthetic devices. This position would be working in a team setting creating devices for patients.
- Hours may be limited and sporadic. No call and weekdays only. It is PRN but expected maybe 1-2 days per week depending on volume.
- Job Summary and Qualifications
- Lab Technicians I fabricate and prepare orthotics and prosthetics based on specifications from practitioners in a timely manner. Performs testing of devices for accuracy of specifications and verifies conformance to quality standards. Must possess excellent communication skills, work ethic, and multitasking ability. Must be proficient in hand skills and knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
- What qualifications you will need:
- + High School Graduate / GED + ABC Certified Tech + 2 years experience as O&P Kab tech. + Experience with hand tools or similar craft
