Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Sign on bonus

Providence Transportation provides emergency BLS ambulance transports to residents of Forsyth County as part of the 911 system . Our crew members are compassionate, caring, reliable, and responsible individuals. Signing Bonus! $1000 for FT candidates. $500 to be paid after 90 days of employment. Additional $500 to be paid after 6 months of Full-Time employment. We are specifically looking for Full-time and Part-time EMT's for convalescent and 911 shifts . We operate in the 911 system, 7 days per week with 12 hour shifts. Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria: Have at least 1 year of experience actively working in a 911 system as an EMT. Posses a current North Carolina EMT certification. You must have a

certification to be considered for employment. Even if you are licensed in a different state and nationally credentialed, you must have a NC cert. Posses a valid NC drivers license with an excellent driving record and no more than 2 points in the last 5 years as well as no revocations or suspensions in the last 5 years Must be at least 21 years of age No felonies or serious misdemeanors on record No drivers license revocations within the last 5 years Drug-free and be able and willing to participate in a pre-employment and random drug testing program Physically able to safely drive and operate an ambulance Physically able to to safely handle and load/unload passengers on a manual or electric stretcher A pleasant, kind and compassionate disposition, able to handle adversity and diffuse conflict A clean and neat appearance Must have a cell phone by which you can be contacted Must be able to operate a GPS and an electronic scheduling device Must be prompt, dependable, and flexible, able to work varying schedules Must be passionate about helping people in need Full-time candidates will work a minimum of 3 shifts per week Part-time candidates will work a minimum of 2 shifts per week Weekend rotational availability is preferred Paid weekly
