Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Welder specializing in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join our manufacturing and construction teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including structural steel, ductwork, piping, and sheet metal fabrication, utilizing advanced welding techniques. Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding on various metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and quality standards. Fabricate components by cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal and pipe sections using plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Follow ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels, piping systems, and structural welds to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts to move heavy materials safely around the worksite or shop floor. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding hazards, fire prevention, and proper handling of materials. Collaborate with team members including machinists, pipefitters, and mechanical engineers to complete projects efficiently. Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and visual checks to ensure weld integrity and dimensional accuracy. Support fabrication projects involving assembly of mechanical components or ductwork for construction or manufacturing applications.

Skills:

Extensive experience in construction site environments with a strong understanding of site safety procedures. Proficiency in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding alongside TIG welding techniques for diverse applications. Knowledge of crane operation for lifting heavy materials safely during fabrication or installation processes. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, power tools operation, and basic math calculations essential for precise fabrication. Familiarity with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), plasma cutting machines, press brake machinery, and pipe threading tools. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes including soldering, machining operations, and the use of hand tools. Ability to interpret ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels or piping systems; experience working with ductwork is a plus. Competence in using micrometers, calipers, schematics reading software, and basic math skills for accurate measurements. Experience with manufacturing environments involving fabrication of structural steel or sheet metal components. Knowledge of rigging techniques necessary for lifting heavy or awkward materials safely on construction sites or within workshops.
