Job Description

Engineered Steel Products (ESP) is a North Carolina based steel fabrication company providing structural steel for the construction industry. ESP's vision is to provide world-class structural steel to customers across its product range that incorporates: This position involves the precise fitting, aligning, and welding of structural steel components. The role requires heavy experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fitting requirements. Fit and assemble structural steel components using measuring tools, clamps, and welding equipment. Perform FCAW and MIG welding to join steel parts according to industry standards. Inspect welded joints and structural assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
3+ years of proven experience as a structural steel welder or fitter in a construction or fabrication environment. Experience working with heavy structural steel Experience with FCAW Welding Commitment to safe work
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Lift and carry materials or tools weighing up to 50+ pounds Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots as required.
