Crate Builder Job Description All Pallets, Inc. is looking for a dependable, hands-on Crate Builder to join our custom fabrication pallet and crate shop in Fremont, NE. This position is responsible for building high-quality wooden crates, containers, and custom packaging from drawings, specs, and customer requirements. The right person should be comfortable working with lumber, power tools, fasteners, tape measures, squares, and production equipment. We are willing to train the right candidate, but applicants must already have a solid mechanical aptitude and some woodworking, construction, or fabrication experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with steady hours, good benefits, and room to grow. Responsibilities Build custom wooden crates, containers, and packaging from drawings and specifications Measure, cut, assemble, and fasten lumber and other materials accurately Use nail guns, saws, hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment safely Read tape measures, squares, prints, work orders, and basic drawings Work with different fastener systems depending on crate design and customer requirements Maintain quality standards for fit, finish, strength, and appearance Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Follow shop procedures and safety practices Help with other pallet, crate, or custom fabrication work as needed Qualifications Woodworking, construction, fabrication, or similar hands-on experience required Must be able to read a tape measure accurately Ability to work from drawings, specs, and basic shop instructions Comfortable using saws, nail guns, hand tools, and power tools Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required Forklift experience is helpful but not required Must be dependable, on time, and able to work well with a team Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
