Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Metal Building Systems Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of metal building components, ensuring structures are erected safely, accurately, and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of commercial and industrial projects, helping clients realize their vision with durable, high-quality metal structures. Responsibilities Erect metal building frameworks according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings, interpreting construction plans accurately. Install metal studs, framing, siding, and trim components with precision using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure proper assembly and alignment of structural elements. Use tape measures, dimensional measurements, and basic math skills to verify measurements and ensure correct placement of materials. Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely during construction activities while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate construction activities on-site efficiently. Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining proper safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Qualifications Proven experience in metal building erection or related construction fields such as framing, siding, or roofing. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately and execute precise cuts and installations. Familiarity with construction site safety practices and ability to lift heavy materials safely. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations on-site. Construction management experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
