Salem, NH Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off On-the-job training Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Mechanical fabrication Welders (tool) Manufacturing Clean workspace maintenance Manual machining Full Job Description Job Summary Univex Corporation, a commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer, is looking for a General Shop Worker to join our in-house machine shop team. This is a hand-on, jack -of-all trades role. No two days will ever look the same and we are looking for someone who's reliable mechanically curious, and ready to learn.
Responsibilities:
Assist with metal fabrication processes, including sheet metal cutting, bending, and welding in accordance with industry standards. Grind/ Prep work as needed. Support day to day machine shop operations in a variety of tasks. . Manual drill press operations Assist experienced machinists and CNC operators as needed. Take on miscellaneous shop duties, this role is built to be flexible, not narrowly defined. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following safety procedures, inspecting tools and equipment regularly, and adhering to OSHA guidelines.
