In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding tasks across various projects, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of complex metal assemblies, pipework, ductwork, and structural components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued. Responsibilities Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding on diverse materials including sheet metal, pipe, and structural steel. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication tasks. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment to shape and assemble metal components. Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure exact specifications are met. Execute pipe threading, soldering, rigging, and assembly operations following ASME codes & standards. Operate forklifts and mechanical machinery safely to transport materials or position components during fabrication or installation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong background in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding. Certification as a welder from an accredited organization demonstrating proficiency in multiple welding processes. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes including plasma cutting, machining, pipe threading, and assembly. Familiarity with schematics related to ductwork, piping systems, or structural steel is highly desirable. Experience operating rigging equipment, power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and press brake machines safely. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding practices is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
