Full Job Description Overview:
Insight Construction is hiring a detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to support our construction operations. This role involves shaping, cutting, and assembling metal components used in structural and architectural applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Blueprint Reading:
Analyze technical drawings and specifications to plan fabrication tasks.
Metal Preparation:
Cut, grind, and shape metal using hand tools, power tools, and equipment like plasma cutters and torches.
Component Assembly:
Fabricate and assemble metal structures, frames, and custom components for construction projects.
Tool & Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain fabrication tools and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy, fit, and finish, making adjustments as needed to meet project standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metal fabrication is a plus. Experience in metal fabrication within the construction industry.
