Steel Fabricator / Sheet Metal Fabricator Full-Time | Monday-Friday Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator for a local company. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience fabricating and assembling steel staircases, railings, and structural metal components .

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble steel staircases and stair components Build railings, handrails, frames, and other custom metal products Measure, cut, bend, drill, and form steel Read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements Operate saws, shears, brakes, drills, grinders, and other fabrication equipment Accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools Fit and prepare metal components for welding and assembly Perform layout and fabrication according to specifications Inspect completed work for proper dimensions and quality Follow shop and workplace safety procedures

Qualifications:

Previous steel or sheet metal fabrication experience required Experience building steel stairs, staircases, railings, or structural/architectural metal Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings Strong measuring and layout skills Experience using fabrication machinery, hand tools, and power tools Welding experience is a plus Must be able to work accurately from measurements and specifications Dependable with strong attention to detail Candidates with experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, architectural metal, stair and railing fabrication, or welding/fabrication shops are strongly encouraged to apply.
