Suspended Scaffold Worker / Driver - Job Description We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Suspended Scaffold Worker with driving experience to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation, removal, and handling of suspended scaffolding equipment at various job sites. This is a hands-on position that requires working outdoors, lifting and moving materials, following directions, and maintaining a safe work environment. The employee will also drive company vehicles to transport scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment between job sites. Training will be provided to help the employee develop their scaffold and construction skills. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, dismantling, and movement of suspended scaffolding systems. Load, unload, carry, and organize scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment. Follow instructions from foremen, supervisors, and experienced scaffold workers. Assist with daily setup and cleanup at job sites. Perform basic inspections of scaffold equipment and report any damaged or unsafe equipment. Operate basic hand tools and power tools as instructed. Drive company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment between job sites. Help maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition. Follow all company safety rules, OSHA requirements, and job-site safety procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Work safely at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions. Assist other crew members with general construction and material-handling tasks as needed. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with coworkers, supervisors, and customers. Qualifications & Skills Previous construction, scaffolding, or general labor experience preferred. Willingness to learn suspended scaffolding work. Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move construction materials. Comfortable working outdoors and at heights. Basic ability to use hand tools is a plus. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record . Ability to drive a company vehicle safely and responsibly. OSHA or scaffold safety training is a plus; training may be provided. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment. Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work for extended periods. Ability to work at heights and on suspended scaffold systems after receiving proper training. Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions. Ability to safely use basic tools and equipment.

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
