Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and Metal Fabrication Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while supporting our manufacturing processes. This energetic position combines the responsibility of safely transporting fabricated metal products to various locations with hands-on involvement in metalworking tasks. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport fabricated metal components to clients and job sites, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Load and unload heavy metal materials using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts and hand tools Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of various fabrication machinery including CNC laser cutters, press brakes, CNC mills, lathes, plasma cutters, and stamping presses Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to accurately measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal and other fabricated components Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments to ensure products meet specified tolerances and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following safety procedures during machine operation and fabrication tasks Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, including welding, forming, tooling setup, and assembly processes Experience Proven experience operating delivery vehicles or trucks in a manufacturing or construction environment Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings (GD&T), shop math, and basic measurement techniques for quality control purposes Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, stamping presses, and hand tools safely and efficiently Understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols during all operations Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machine issues Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of precision and safety Join us to be part of an innovative company that values your skills in both transportation and metal fabrication.
