- Job Description The Fabrication Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding stainless steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-quality fabricated parts and assemblies.
This role requires strong technical skills in metal fabrication, precision measuring, and an in-depth understanding of stainless-steel materials and fabrication techniques. Responsibilities Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to conform to customer specifications. Utilize measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, and tape measures on a daily basis. Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner. Read and interpret blueprints and shop plans. Assist in developing designs for welding projects. Operate a variety of tools and equipment. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management. Essential Skills Experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in using measuring tools. In-depth understanding of stainless steel materials and fabrication techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in basic mathematics is preferred. Willingness to learn is required.
