Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Suspended Scaffold Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling suspended scaffolding systems that enable safe and efficient access to high-rise building exteriors and other elevated work areas. Your expertise will ensure that all scaffold structures are erected in strict accordance with safety protocols, technical specifications, and project plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, including building facades, remodeling, and maintenance, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and precision. Duties Erect, modify, and dismantle suspended scaffolding systems using hand tools and power tools in compliance with safety standards and technical drawings. Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding structures during and after installation to verify stability, safety, and adherence to building codes. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate scaffold/swing stage placement. Communicate efficiently and respectfully with customers, project managers, and fellow employees Follow strict safety protocols at all times by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and participating in safety training sessions. Build suspended scaffold/swing stage properly and in accordance with common practices and OSHA standards Safely and effectively supply material to team members in a logical and organized fashion which includes anticipating the next step. Take corrective action if potential hazards arise so that you and your team are safe from injury . Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on scaffold erection or related trades such as carpentry or building construction is preferred but not required. Comfortable with heights and physical labor. Flexible schedule - Extended out of town work will be occasionally required. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to scaffold erection including OSHA regulations is preferred. Ability to work at heights comfortably while maintaining focus on safety procedures throughout the job site. Must be comfortable driving truck and trailer or stake body truck .

Pay:

$24.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
