Job Description
Richmond Machine Company is looking for a 1st shift experienced fabricator. Fabricator is responsible for set-up, lay-out, tack-up and weld of various precision product weldments and brackets. Ability to tack up structures to tight tolerances. Ability to weld precision products to exact tolerances. Ability to hold final required cosmetic finish with angle grinders and sanders. Position is 1st shift, 4 10-hour days with some overtime. Full benefit package including health insurance, life insurance, 401K, 401K matching, and paid holidays. Compensation commensurate with experience. Range $20-$30hr. MIG weld mild steel and stainless steel. Aluminum experience a plus. TIG Welding a plus. Square up and weld various geometries of components. Understand various weld form symbols on blue prints and understand size of fillet forms. Weld both vertical and horizontal plane geometry. Understand various edge preps before welding. Good understanding of set up techniques. Understand press brake and shear use. Meets goals and objectives in a timely manner. Arrives to work on time and as scheduled. Minimum four years welding experience in a job shop environment. Demonstrate effective verbal, written, and communication skills. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
