Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Exhaust Wrap Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for appling ceramic insulation to new variopus shape and sized exhaust tubes then wrap them with metal foil tape, and sometimes add protective sleeve over the wrap. This is a moderately physical job and requires the operator to stand for their entire shift, usually 8 hours to 10 hours. Use of hand tools including razor knife, metal strap ratcheting tightner, chop saw, screwdrivers and pliars. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Duties Apply exhaust wrap materials to vehicle exhaust systems using hand tools and , ensuring secure and even coverage. Use of metal foil tape and woven fiberglass sleeve to cover insulation Follow strict safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), operating fire extinguishers when necessary, and adhering to safety guidelines during all tasks. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of exhaust components or materials while maintaining proper posture to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by utilizing cleaning equipment and performing outdoor cleaning activities as needed. Skills No Experience Necessary, we will train you. Skilled in the use of hand tools for wrapping, cutting, and securing exhaust materials. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE usage, fire extinguisher operation, and manual handling best practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during installation or removal of exhaust components from wrap fixtures. Strong attention to detail in inspecting wrapped systems for quality assurance.

Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
