Fabricator/Fitter - 100% Paid Benefits Package 1st shift 6am-2:30pm As a Fabricator/Fitter you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Fabricator/Fitter Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to design requirements. Perform layout and fit up of structural steel components. Conduct quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tasks efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations. Fabricator/Fitter Qualifications Proven experience in welding and fitting, preferably within an industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment. Familiarity with FCAW welding processes is essential for this role. Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documents. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication. Knowledge of calipers and other measuring tools is a plus. Ability to fabricate metal components based on project specifications.
