In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of welding tasks on various metal materials, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, metal fabrication, and assembly processes. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical proficiency, mechanical knowledge, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical blueprints to determine welding specifications and procedures. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to prepare materials for welding and fabrication. Measure and mark metal materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math skills to ensure precise cuts and welds. Fabricate, assemble, and install metal components on construction sites or in fabrication shops, including sheet metal fabrication and pipe threading. Maintain safety protocols at all times Qualifications Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong background in metal fabrication and welding. Proficiency in multiple welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams accurately. Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication work. Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment like cranes or machining tools is a plus. Experience working with sheet metal, pipe threading, plasma cutting, and assembly processes. Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to construction sites and fabrication shops.
