Responsibilities:

• Perform structural welding tasks according to blueprints and specifications
• Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure accurate dimensions
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment for precision cutting of metal
• Weld and fabricate components for structural projects
• Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in structural welding or a related field
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols
• Knowledge of different welding techniques and processes
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork systems
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
